NAPERVILLE, Ill. – Two Viking women were named to the All-CCIW teams. Juniors Gabriela Loiz and Macy Beinborn were selected to the first and second teams, respectively. Loiz was one five unanimous first-team performers.
 
Loiz played in all of Augustana's 25 games this season and averaged 14.3 points per game. Her scoring average led the Viking offense and was good enough for fourth in the conference. Loiz was also the most efficient scorer for Augie with a field goal percentage of 47.8%. The junior forward also averaged over five rebounds per game, 3.1 assists per game, and 1.4 steals per contest. This is the first all-conference selection of Loiz' career.
 
Macy Beinborn's second-team selection was also the first all-conference recognition of her career. The Quad Cities native was the Vikings' second-leading scorer, and was among the conference's ten most prolific scorers, with an average of 12.8 points per game. Beinborn also scored quite efficiently with percentages of 41.6% from the field and 40.0% from beyond the three-point line. She was also the most reliable free throw shooter with a 75.7% clip from the stripe. Defensively, Beinborn's length provided issues with a team-high 19 total blocks.
 
Additionally, Augustana's Emma Berg was chosen as the Vikings' recipient of the RESPECT Award. The RESPECT Award is given to one student-athlete per team who exemplifies the values of Respect, Enthusiasm, Service, Pride, Excellence, Collaboration, and Trust. Berg was one of two freshman to be awarded this honor.
