ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – Augustana women's basketball (12-12, 6-9) looks to end the regular season on a two-game winning streak with a home contest on Saturday, Feb. 19. The Vikings will host Illinois Wesleyan University for Senior Night.

Illinois Wesleyan enters the weekend with a 16-8 overall record and 13-2 mark in conference play. The Titans are riding a three-game winning streak with victories over North Park, Wheaton, and North Central. The Titans' last loss came on Feb. 7 at Millikin by a 67-56 score.

IWU boasts two double-digit scorers in Brooke Lansford and Lauren Huber. Lansford leads the squad with 14.1 points per game while Huber scores 12.4 points per game. Huber also leads the team in offensive efficiency with a 50.8 field goal percentage and paces the Titans on the boards with a team-best 6.4 rebounds per contest. Lansford also leads Illinois Wesleyan with 4.1 assists per game.

Elsewhere, Mallory Powers and Kaia Bowen are two other key rebounders for IWU with equal averages of 5.4 rpg. Senior forward Catie Eck leads the team in major defensive categories with team-highs in blocks (39), blocks per game (1.8), steals (54), and steals per game (2.5).

The Titans took care of Augustana in the first matchup of the season, an 81-48 IWU victory in Bloomington. The Vikings are looking for their first win over Illinois Wesleyan since December of 2015 when they defeated IWU 86-80 in Rock Island.

The Vikings will honor three senior student-athletes and two senior student-managers on Saturday evening.

With a win, Illinois Wesleyan would secure at least a share the 2022 CCIW regular season championship and earn the top seed in the upcoming CCIW Tournament. This weekend's game also has major postseason implications for the Vikings.
