NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- Michael Gille of Augustana men's indoor track and field has been named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men's Indoor Track & Field Student-Athlete of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday.

Gille, a senior from Roscoe, Illinois, ran a lifetime best in the 5,000-meter run at South Dakota State over the weekend in a field of teams ranging from NCAA DI, DII, and DIII. His time of 14:38.96 is currently first in the CCIW and 34th on the NCAA Division III national list. This time also ranks third in program history for the indoor 5,000.
