NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Augustana men's wrestling team will travel to the Music City for the Gator Boot Duals on December 17 for a trio of duals against Huntingdon, Alma, and Dubuque.

The Vikings are coming off a 31-9 defeat to No. 5 ranked North Central at home. Augie had three individual winners in Thursday night's dual, A.J. Joyner (174), Jacob Badger (197), and Josh Woodrey (285). Augie currently sits at 2-4 in dual play for the 2022-23 season. 

The Dubuque Spartans enter Nashville for their first dual action of the 2022-23 season. Since 2013, Augie and Dubuque have split their matchups 3-3 overall, with the last victory coming from the Spartans 39-10 on January 8, 2019. 

Huntingdon is coming off a tri-match on December 10, where the Hawks went 2-0 over Central Baptist and Cumberland. Augie last faced Huntingdon on December 18, 2021, at these Gator Boot duals. The Vikings secured the dual victory 25-15. 

Across the last decade, Augie has faced Alma just once, dropping the neutral sight dual 20-19 on December 21, 2013. Entering this weekend, The Scots have fallen in each of their six duals on the season. 

The Vikings kick off dual play Saturday at 9:45 a.m. when they face Huntingdon. Augie's final two matchups against Dubuque and Alma will begin at 11:30 a.m. and 1:15 p.m., respectively. A stream link for the duals can be found here.
