ROCK ISLAND -- Mark Addison of Augustana men's water polo has been named both the MPSF Player and Newcomer of the Week, the conference announced Monday evening.

Addison had three goals on six shots in the team's 17-16 home win over DII foe McKendree on Saturday, helping lead the Vikings to its first-ever home win in its short program history. The freshman also tallied one assists, three steals, three drawn exclusions, and a block.

It's the second weekly award for Addison this season.
