BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- The Augustana Vikings men's and women's swimming & diving teams will make a return trip to Illinois Wesleyan for a dual meet on Saturday, November 12.
Augie's last outing was also at Illinois Wesleyan, resulting in first-place finishes for both the men and women at the Titans' Halloween Invite. Both teams saw individual and relay winners across the board, but also boasted multiple top three finishes to help them claim the top spot.
Kacper Cebula was named the CCIW Student-Athlete of the Week for his performance, placing second in the 100-yard freestyle (49.90) and helping with several of the team's five wins in relays. The Augie men also saw individual wins from
Jack Blumenfeld and
Michael Garland. The women secured three first-place finishes from
Bella Casanovas and
Isabelle Sansom to go with the team's four relay races.
The Vikings both currently sit at 1-0 in dual meets this season as the men and women defeated Monmouth back on October 28.
