NASHPORT, Ohio — The Augie men's golf team completed the Region V Preview at Virtues Golf Club on Monday and Tuesday, placing 14th in their final tournament of the fall season.

Augustana was led by Adam Soczka, who recorded a score of 165 in the Preview, with round scores of 81 and 84. Soczka impressively paced the Vikings on par-threes, par-fours, and par-fives. 

Trailing Soczka was Tyler Langel with a score of 175. Langel had the second-best outing on Monday for the Vikings, turning in a score of 86. Langel also tied Noah Ehlenbach in total birdies for Augie with two. Ehlenbach posted a score of 179 and had a feel for par-threes throughout the two-day stay, shooting just three over on such holes. 

Rounding out the effort for Augustana was Aaron Rogers and Jonah Snelling, securing scores of 177 and 179. Rodgers tied Soczka as the top performer on par-fours for the Vikings, both averaging a 4.80 in the Preview. Snelling tallied 16 total pars in the two-day affair, trailing only Soczka (18) for Augie.

The conclusion of the Region V Preview marks the end of the fall season for Augie men's golf. The spring schedule will be announced at a later date.
