ROCK ISLAND -- The Augustana Vikings women's volleyball team will remain home for their final regular-season contest of the season on Wednesday, October 26 as they welcome in the Carroll Pioneers to the Carver Center.

The Vikings currently sit at 16-10 overall, 4-3 in the CCIW and can clinch a spot in the upcoming conference tournament with a victory over the Pioneers on Wednesday. Augustana is coming off of a 3-0 home win over the North Park Vikings last Saturday. The Vikings used a come-from-behind effort to take set one over North Park, following it up with two dominating games to complete the sweep. Caroline Hurst and Jaden Julius each led the Vikings with eight kills apiece, while Amelie Baehr-Ross helped fuel the offensive efforts with 20 assists. Syd Krueger had three solo blocks to help anchor the Augie defense.

Carroll enters Wednesday with a 12-13 overall record and 2-5 mark in league action. The Pioneers have won three of their last four outings, including a five-set victory over Ripon in their most recent contest. Carroll has also won of their last three conference matches, defeating Wheaton and Elmhurst over that span.

The Vikings are 19-6 all-time against the Pioneers and have won the last three meetings between the two teams. Augie won last year's matchup in Rock Island by a final of 3-1.

Start time on Wednesday is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Live video and stat links can be found here.
