ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – The Augustana women's wrestling team is set for their return to the mat this week. The Viking women (0-2) will compete in a pair of team dual matches for the first time in nearly two months.
 
The Vikings will take on both the Fontbonne Griffins and Lincoln Lynx in a triangular meet hosted by Lincoln University on Thursday, Jan. 20.
 
Augustana's participation will be the first action for the women's wrestling team since December 11. The Viking team has multiple event canceled and postponed due to various safety protocols.
 
Both visiting schools, Augustana and Fontbonne, enter Thursday with 0-2 records in duals. The Griffins, like Augustana, have not been seen in action since December due to cancelations and postponements. The hosts, Lincoln University, have not participated in a dual contest yet this season.
