ONALASKA, Wis. – The Augustana women's golf continued their excellent play this season with another tournament win. The Vikings outlasted the host Eagles at the UW-La Crosse Invite and won by a mere two strokes.
Augustana finished the invitational with a total score of +43, just two strokes ahead of UW-La Crosse at +45. The top two finishers were the only teams of the ten participating teams.
Augustana produced one of the events individual champions as
Avery Frick tied for first with UW-Platteville's Markie Ash. Both golfers finished the event with rounds of +8, 79.
The Vikings also got help from other top performers.
Rylie Schurter finishd T4 after a round of +10, 81.
Kelsey O'Connor was the only other Augustana representative in the top 10. She finished T6 with a score of +11, 82.
Augustana will remain in Onalaska for another one-day event today. The Vikings will play in the Viterbo Invite at the La Crosse Country Club.
