ROCK ISLAND, Ill. - The 2021-22 Augustana women's tennis schedule has been released and is now available.

The Vikings begin their new season with the UW-Whitewater Invitational on Saturday, September 4th. Details for this meet have not yet been released. Augustana's home and conference opener will be on the same day later that week on Friday, September 10th as the team hosts North Park. Augie has won the last seven meetings between the two. This will be the start of three straight home matches for the Vikings as they welcome in Illinois Wesleyan and Grinnell the very next day.

For the remainder of the fall, Augustana will compete in the conference portion of their schedule, with the only non-league outing coming September 24-26 as the team heads to Kalamazoo, Mich. for the ITA Regional Championships. Augie closes out their regular season schedule in the fall on October 16th at home versus Millikin before gearing up for the CCIW Championships beginning on October 21st. The three-day tournament will be held in Hanover Park, Ill.

Augustana resumes play for their spring slate on February 26th on the road against Coe. The Vikings will see a total of six matches in the spring, with three on the road and three at home. The team finishes the season with the CCIW AQ Championships beginning April 29th. Dates and times are subject to change and some start times for matches are still to be determined.

The Vikings are coming off a 10-6 2020-21 record that saw it end with a 6-2 record in the CCIW. The team made it to the conference tournament championship but was defeated by North Central.
