DECATUR, Ill. – Senior
Jack Neenan (Benet Academy, Naperville, Ill.) and sophomore
Jonah Snelling (Benet Academy, Glen Ellyn, Ill.) shot identical rounds of 76-77—153 this weekend, as Augustana placed ninth at Millikin's Take Back the Night Challenge. The tournament was held Saturday and Sunday at par-72 Scovill Golf Course and par-71 South Side Country Club, respectively.
Neenan and Snelling tied for 28th place in a field of 69 golfers and the Vikings shot 312-316—628 to place ninth in a 12-team field.

Paul Del Vecchio's lineup consisted of senior
Dylan Flock (Maroa-Forsyth HS, Forsyth, Ill.), who tied for 43rd with a 75-82—157; sophomore
Tyler Langel (West Delaware HS, Manchester, Iowa), who carded an 85-80—165 to place 57th; and junior
Hunter Love (Alleman HS, Rock Island, Ill.), who shot 86-84—170 to tie for 62nd.
Illinois Wesleyan's Rob Wuethrich shot a blistering ten-under 66-67—133 for the weekend to capture medalist honors by six strokes and lead the Titans (282-281—563) to the team title. Nebraska Wesleyan, behind runner-up Alex Kubik (69-70—139), finish second, 16 strokes back (285-294—579).
A second IWU unit (294-290—584) placed third, with Webster (297-292—589) and the host Big Blue (299-297—596) rounding out the top five in the team standings.
Three other players finished under par for the weekend. Webster's Will Hocker and Nebraska Wesleyan's Grant Johnson each shot a two-under 71-70—141 to tie for third and fifth-place Ethan Wilkins of Illinois Wesleyan was one-under at 72-70—142.
Del Vecchio's crew is scheduled to play at Central's Dutch Invitational in Pella, Iowa on Thursday, April 22.
