CHICAGO, Ill. – Augustana ran into a buzz saw at the University of Chicago Wednesday, falling 9-0 to a powerful Maroon outfit at Stagg Courts. The Vikings move to 6-4 overall heading into a CCIW matchup with North Central on Saturday, April 17 at the Lower Campus Courts. Chicago improved to 4-2 on the season.

Leonardo Panosso (La Sale Caxias, Caxias do Sul, Brazil) at second doubles.
Junior
Justin Cassens (Emerald Ridge HS, Puyallup, Wash.) and freshman
Eliot St. Paul (Ecole Diagonal, Paris, France) fell 8-2 at third doubles to Biren Reddy and Marek Michulka.
Alex dropped his second singles match with Yuan 7-5, 6-3. At number one, de Rezende lost his first set with Alshon 6-4 before retiring down 1-0 in the second.
Panosso fell 6-2, 6-0 to Das at number three and St. Paul lost one and one to Xu at number four. Michulka defeated Cassens 6-0, 6-0 at fifth singles and at number six, Boudreau dropped a 6-1, 6-0 decision to Alex Guzhva.
