ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – Augustana moved to 5-4 on the season and 4-1 in the CCIW Tuesday with an 8-1 win over Elmhurst at the Lower Campus Courts. The Bluejays dropped to 1-4 overall and 1-3 in the conference.

The Vikings continued on their roll in singles action. Sophomore
Michaela Magee (Olathe East HS, Overland Park, Kansas) won 6-1, 6-0 over Bering at number three and Schoeck defeated Bilancia 6-1, 6-2 at number two.
At first singles, Timm scored a 6-2, 6-0 victory over Kostadinova and junior
Nicole Pacheco (Colegio Arua, Mogi das Cruzes, Brazil) posted a 6-1, 6-0 win over Val Schallmo at number six.

Amanda Redman (Wheaton North HS, Wheaton, Ill.) won 6-3, 6-2 over Engstrom at fifth singles to make it 8-0 Augustana before Elmhurst averted the sweep with Rahman's 6-1, 7-6 win over
Mia Reese (Wheaton North HS, Wheaton, Ill.) at number four.
