BLOOMINGTON, Illinois – Augustana opened the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin women's tennis season with a solid 9-0 victory over Illinois Wesleyan on Saturday, March 27 in Bloomington, Illinois. The Vikings evened their record at 2-2 on the season and will be in action again on March 28 in Decatur, Illinois against Millikin. The next match after that will be Wednesday, March 31 in Chicago when head coach
Jon Miedema's team takes on North Park.

Lily Schoeck (Alleman Catholic HS, Rock Island, Ill.) defeated Rebecca Rochacz and Alessia Girardin 8-2.

Caitlyn Hanulikova (Ames HS, Ames, Iowa) and senior
Kalli Majewski (Mundelein HS, Mundelein, Ill.) beat Ashley Mohr and Anna Cooper 8-2. The number three team of senior
Morgan Bullen (Colorado Academy, Lakewood, Colo.) and sophomore
Lauren Oda (Elk Grove HS, Elk Grove, Ill.) beat Katelyn Heller and Bella Kiper 8-5.
Timm took care of Girardin 6-1; 6-2 at number one singles and Schoeck defeated Rocharz 6-3; 6-1 at number two. At number three it was sophomore
Michaela Magee (Olathe East HS, Overland Park, Kansas) in the slot and she beat Cooper 6-0; 6-2. Hanulikova beat Mohr 6-1; 6-0 at number four.
Majewski was a 6-0; 6-2 winner over Heller at number five and freshman Mia Reece
(Wheaton North HS, Wheaton, Ill.) handled Kiper 6-1; 6-0 at number six.
