NAPERVILLE, Ill. – Winning efforts in the high jump and pole vault at Illinois Wesleyan this past Saturday have earned Augustana junior Katrina Krebasch (Fenton HS, Wood Dale, Ill.) College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin Field Athlete of the Week honors for the second time this year.
 
Krebasch cleared 5' ¼" to win the high jump Saturday at IWU's "Titan Tri IV". She went a season and career-best 11' 9¾" to capture the pole vault as well.
 
Krebasch's Saturday effort in the pole vault is not only tops in the CCIW this year, but currently ranks fourth in the nation at the Division III level. Only four Vikings have ever gone higher indoors. Her season best of 5' 2¼" in the high jump, set on February 6, is tied for tops in the conference and ranks in the top twenty nationally. Although she scratched Saturday in the triple jump, she sports a season best of 33' 2" in the event.
 
The conference also recognized Krebasch as its Field Athlete of the Week on February 9. She and her teammates are scheduled to compete at "Titan Tri V" on Saturday, March 6 in Bloomington, Illinois.
