Seth Tegtmeier's Vikings, 6-2 head-to-head this year, will host Elmhurst, Illinois Wesleyan and North Central at Backyard Bowl in Milan, Illinois on Saturday, February 13.
Augustana started the day with an 800-772 traditional-game setback to Elmhurst. Sophomore
Meghan DeYoung (Andrew HS, Tinley Park, Ill.) paced the Vikings with a high of 170. Junior
Abigail Clark (Wilmot HS, Twin Lakes, Wis.) was next with a 169.
Tegtmeier's bunch started strong in Baker play, bowling a 199 in the first game on its way to an 830-730 win over the Bluejays.
Against Illinois Wesleyan, freshman
Alexis Munch (Sycamore HS, Sycamore, Ill.) led the way in traditional action with a 194, while classmate
Mina Garner (Lake Park HS, Roselle, Ill.) and Clark rolled a 164 and 163, respectively. Augustana came away an 804-494 winner. The Vikings also claimed the Baker match 665-472 behind an opening game of 184.
