BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – A clean sweep in the pole vault headlined the Augustana effort at the Illinois Wesleyan triangular on Saturday, February 21 in Bloomington, Illinois. The Vikings of head coach David Thompson competed against Millikin and Illinois Wesleyan in a non-scoring meet.
 
Junior Katrina Krebasch (Fenton HS, Wood Dale, Ill.) won the pole vault with a clearance of 11' 9 ¾" while senior Jordan MacNeil (West Torrance HS, Torrance, Calif.) took second (10' 00") and sophomore Brooke Ziegenhorn (Mercer County HS, Joy, Ill.) placed third (9' 6 ¼").  Krebasch was actually a double winner as she took the high jump at 5' 0 ¼" while senior teammate Kalli Majewski (Mundelein HS, Mundelein, Ill.) was second at 4' 8 ¼". Majewski also placed third in the triple jump with a leap of 34' 3" and was third in the 60 hurdles in :10.75.
 
The distance medley team of junior Irais Tenorio (North Boone HS, Poplar Grove, Ill.), senior Ana Warkocki (Lincoln-Way East HS, Frankfort, Ill.), sophomore Kara Lotz (Lincoln-Way West HS, New Lenox, Ill.) and freshman Emma Odle (Fremd HS, Inverness, Ill.) won with a time of 13:50.91.
 
Senior Amanda Peterson (Wheaton St. Francis HS, Glen Ellyn, Ill.) took second in the 60 (:08.26) and the 200 (:27.57). Senior Sofia Wajner (Palmetto Ridge HS, Naples, Fla.) took third in the 400 in 1:01.38.
 
Senior Katherine Iverson (Oswego HS, Oswego, Ill.) placed third in the mile in 5:54.35 and freshman Anna Boardman (Sun Prairie HS, Sun Prairie, Wis.) was third in the 3000 in 11:45.53.
 
Augustana is in action next on Saturday, March 6 in Bloomington, Illinois with a double dual against Illinois Wesleyan and Wheaton.
