ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – The Augustana women's basketball team (5-1) will face a tough road test tomorrow when they travel to St. Louis to face an undefeated Webster University squad.

Webster (6-0) has dominated every opponent they have faced this season with an average margin of victory of 29.6 points. The slimmest margin came in the Gorloks' most recent game, a 76-60 win over Stephens College. Webster has scored 74+ points in each of their contests with their lowest single-game total coming in the season opener, a 74-47 rout at Anderson College.

The Gorloks currently have three players averaging double-digit points including Addison Beussink (14.8 ppg), Julie Baudendistel (13.3 ppg), and Namoi Johnson (10.3 ppg). Beussink and Baudendistel have been incredibly efficient this season with field goal percentages near the 50% mark. Beussink uses her size on the boards as well with a team-high 53 total rebounds and an 8.8 rpg average.

Johnson, as well as Hannah Cottrell and Lauryn Freeman, all lead the team with just over two assists per game. Those three guards, as well as Beussink, have also been deadly on defense with an average of 11.3 steals per game between that foursome.

Augustana holds an 8-5 advantage over Webster in the schools' all-time series. The Vikings have done most of their work against Webster in recent years, winning six of the last seven including the most recent, an 80-56 drubbing in 2019-20.
