ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – The Augustana wrestling teams will travel to North Central tomorrow for their second dual meet of the season. The Vikings and Cardinals will begin their matches at 6:00 P.M. on Wednesday, Nov. 23.
Both squads look to capture their first dual wins of the season as the men are 0-1 after a loss to Elmhurst and the women have the same mark after dropping the program's first-ever dual at UW-Stevens Point.
Wednesday's dual will be the first women's CCIW wrestling match for the Augie women's team.
The men's series has a lengthy history dating back to the 1962-63 season. Augustana currently holds a 31-11 all-time lead over the Cardinals. North Central has had an advantage more recently, though, as NCC won the last two match-ups from 2017-2019.
