ROCK ISLAND, ILL. – Augustana women's volleyball will travel to North Central College for their final CCIW match of the season. The Vikings will visit NCC tomorrow, Wednesday, Oct. 27, at 7:00 P.M.
The Vikings look to win their second straight match, and second of their last three CCIW games. Augustana currently sits at 8-20 overall and 1-6 in league play.
North Central is 7-9 during this season and 2-5 against CCIW foes. The Cardinals have won just one game in their last seven when they defeated Lake Forest College in four sets last week. North Central has lost their last four conference matches.
Abbi Barickman leads NCC with 145 kills. Isabelle Guerrero and Kaitlyn Boelter-Eberhardt have also recorded triple-digit kills with 124 and 102, respectively. Emily Stallman leads North Central with 277 digs followed by Maddi Barickman with 135. Maddi Barickman also sits atop the assists category with 348 and the service aces category with 34.
Augustana holds a 5-2 advantage in the all-time series against North Central. The Vikings have won the last two contests against North Central including a 3-1 triumph in their most recent tilt. The Cardinals' last win over Augie in 2017 with a 3-1 victory of their own in Naperville.
