Jon Miedema's outfit is now 5-2 on the season with two more non-conference matchups on the docket for Saturday, February 22. St. Ambrose and Luther will visit QCTC for duals scheduled for 10:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., respectively.

Sriram Sugumaran's (Pleasant Valley HS, Bettendorf, Iowa) 7-6, 6-3 win over Joseph Conrad at third singles lifted Augustana to its 5-4 win over Rose-Hulman.
The Vikings captured doubles wins at numbers two and three. Sophomores
Leonardo Panosso (La Sale Caxias, Caxias Do Sul, Brazil) and
Kyle Boudreau (Antioch HS, Antioch, Ill.) defeated Conrad and Josh Giambattista 8-6 at number two and junior
Caio de Rezende (Colegio Itoca, Sao Paulo, Brazil) and sophomore
Justin Cassens (Emerald Ridge HS, Puyallup, Wash.) were 8-5 winners over Andrew Schiffman and Mark Slaninka at number three.
The Engineers cut the deficit to 2-1 heading to singles, getting an 8-7 first doubles win—which included a 17-15 tiebreaker—from Ian Landwehr and Austin Perry over Sugumaran and
Peter Alex (Hinsdale South HS, Darien, Ill.).
Rose-Hulman took a 4-3 lead with wins at sixth and fifth singles, where Grant Stamper and Giambattista defeated Cassens (6-1, 6-3) and Boudreau (6-1, 6-1), respectively. First singles de Rezende tied it with a 7-5, 3-6, 10-5 win over Landwehr.
It was still tied after Panossa rallied to best Schiffman 0-6, 6-3, 10-8 at number four and Alex fell 7-6, 4-6, 10-5 to Perry at number two. That left it up to Sugumaran, who came through in straight sets to clinch the victory.
COE 5, AUGUSTANA 4
Versus Coe, now 5-0 on the season, Augustana got wins at the same singles spots as it had earlier in the day, but dropped two of three doubles matchups.
Kohawks Jon Lansing and Nathan Meskell were 8-3 winners over Cassens and de Rezende at third doubles and Panosso and Boudreau fell 8-4 to Tyler Nelson and Nate Greiner at number two. At number one, Alex and Sugumaran downed Rami Hemaidan and Bo Wilson by an 8-4 count.
Coe clinched the victory by claiming the first three singles matches finished. Meskell defeated Boudreau 6-1, 6-0 at number six, Greiner was a 6-3, 6-2 winner over Alex at number two and Wilson downed Cassens two and two at number five.
The Vikings closed with three singles wins. Panosso scored a 6-4, 6-2 decision over Adrian Savic at number four and de Rezende and Sugumaran both won in three sets. At number one, de Rezende downed Hemaidan 7-5, 2-6, 10-5 and at number three, Sugumaran edged Lansing 6-7, 7-6, 10-8.
