Lily Schoeck (Alleman HS, Rock Island, Ill.) and
Lauren Oda (Elk Grove HS, Elk Grove Village, Ill.) scored an 8-0 win over the Big Blue's Morgan Bettner and Alena Hinch at second doubles. Miedema's number one team, junior
Annie Timm (Prairie Ridge HS, Crystal Lake, Ill.) and senior
Leraaen Abbott (Belvidere North HS, Belvidere, Ill.) took care of Shelby Jones and Brianna Barconi by a score of 8-1 and another first-year pair,
Michaela Magee (Olathe East HS, Overland Park, Kan.) and
Grace Rider (Madison East HS, Madison, Wis.) completed the doubles sweep with an 8-3 win over Katie Cooper and Danielle Beard at number three.
Schoeck and Oda were both 6-0, 6-1 winners in singles. Schoeck downed Barconi at number three and Oda bested Beard at number four. Abbott, playing her first singles match of the season, defeated Amber Rezinas 6-2, 6-0 at number six.
At number one, Timm was a 6-1, 6-2 winner over Bettner. Magee beat Jones 6-1, 7-5 at number two and at fifth singles, Rider got the better of Cooper by a score of 6-3, 6-4.
Augustana will look to continue on its roll when North Park visits on Sunday, September 29 for a 10:00 a.m. dual.
