NAPERVILLE, Ill. – Augustana bounced back from a first-set loss at North Central Wednesday to win three straight and claim its 2019 CCIW opener. The Vikings improved to 5-7 overall and 1-0 in the conference, while the host Cardinals fell to 4-9 on the year and 0-2 in the league.
The teams traded 25-19 wins in the first two games. Augustana captured the key third set by a score of 28-26 and then rolled to a 25-10 victory in set four.
