BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – A pair of schools out of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference got the better of Augustana Saturday at Illinois Wesleyan's Holiday Inn Express Classic III at the Shirk Center. Both UW-Oshkosh and UW-Eau Claire downed the Vikings in four sets. Coach
Kelly Bethke's squad, now 11-17 on the year, will wrap up the 2019 regular season on Saturday, November 2, hosting Nebraska Wesleyan and Monmouth at the Pumpkin Bash at Carver Center.
UW-OSHKOSH 3, AUGUSTANA 1 (25-11, 21-25, 26-24, 25-21)
UW-Oshkosh moved to 20-8 on the season with a four-set win over Augustana. The Titans captured game one 25-11 before the Vikings bounced back to tie the match with a 25-21 set-two win. UWO outlasted Augustana 26-24 in game three and clinched the victory by taking the fourth set 25-21.

Laura Heuermann (Washington HS, Washington, Ill.) led the Vikings with 14 kills, one more than senior
Grace Bialobok (Homewood-Flossmoor HS, Homewood, Ill.). Sophomore
Olivia Doak (Crystal Lake Central HS, Crystal Lake, Ill.) had match highs of 37 assists and four service aces. Junior
Jessica Nguyen's (Kaneland HS, Elburn, Ill.) 21 digs were also a match-best, while senior
Madi Glatz (Morton HS, Morton, Ill.) added 10. Doak and freshman
Ja'Nya Davis (Narbonne HS, Harbor City, Calif.) were each in on two blocks.
For the Titans, Shelby Caron put away a match-high 16 kills. Rebecca Doughty led her team with 18 assists and Rachel Gardner with 17 digs. Kate Nottoli had a hand in a match-best six blocks.
UW-EAU CLAIRE 3, AUGUSTANA 1 (25-18, 16-25, 26-16, 25-21)
Against UW-Eau Claire, Augustana again dropped the first set (25-18) before taking the second by a score of 25-16. The Blugolds claimed the third by the same score and won the fourth 25-21 to improve to 17-8 on the year.
Bialobok finished with a match-high 17 kills. Freshman

Brooke Harmon (Lindbergh HS, St. Louis, Mo.) nine. Doak recorded 40 assists and 11 digs. Nguyen equaled a career high with a match-best 33 digs. Davis and senior
Taylor Steger (Red Wing HS, Goodhue, Minn.) had a pair of blocks apiece.
Kendra Baierl led three Blugolds in double-digit kills with 12 and Abbey Peterson dished out 37 assists. Makenzie Bachmann finished with 19 digs and Krista Meyer had a match-high four blocks.
