Jon Miedema's Augustana tennis team defeated Cornell 9-0 at the Lower Campus Courts. The Vikings improved to 16-5 on the season heading into the Midwest Invitational in Madison, Wisconsin on April 6-7. The Rams fell to 11-7.

Annie Timm (Prairie Ridge HS, Crystal Lake, Ill.) to down Abbey Nelson and Katie Mintle 8-5.
In singles play, Timm won love and love over Nelson at number two and freshman
Morgan Bullen (Colorado Academy, Lakewood, Colo.) was a 6-1, 6-0 winner over Pope at number five.
Badawi bested Ruiz 6-1, 6-2 at third singles and freshman
Faith Johnson (Harker Heights HS, Harker Heights, Ill.) defeated Mintle 6-0, 6-3 at number four.
At sixth singles, Chowdhury downed Davidson 6-2, 6-2. Schaffer rallied from a 3-6 first-set loss to Thome, taking sets two and three 6-0 and 10-6, respectively, to complete the Augustana sweep.
