MOLINE, Ill. – Augustana ran into a pair of nationally ranked opponents in women's tennis on Saturday, March 10 at the Quad City Tennis Club in Moline, Illinois. Head Coach Jon Miedema's Vikings fell to Gustavus Adolphus 8-1 in the first match of the day and dropped a 9-0 decision to Wisconsin-Whitewater in the nightcap.
 
The lone winner for Augustana on the day was freshman Margaret Chadick (Plainfield North HS, Plainfield, Ill.). She won her number six singles match against Gustavus Adolphus by beating Ally Thorsen 6-1; 4-6; 10-5.
 
The Vikings are now 14-4 on the season and will be in action again on March 25 against Coe in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
