DUBUQUE, Iowa – Daniel Terronez (Moline HS, Moline, Ill.) and Adarios Jones (Moline HS, Moline, Ill.) recorded decisive wins for Augustana Thursday, but the Vikings had their hands full with seventh-ranked Loras, falling 45-10 to the Duhawks. Augustana dropped to 1-3 in dual meets this year, while the hosts won for the fourth time in as many duals.
 
The Vikings trailed 16-0 after a 125-pound forfeit, a loss by fall at 133 and another by major decision at 141, where senior Dale Charlier (Cary-Grove HS, Cary, Ill.) fell 10-2 to sixth-ranked Kevin Kelly.
 
Terronez, at 149, got Coach Tony Willaert's squad on the scoreboard when he pinned Brock Parker in 1:25. The win lifted the sophomore to 8-5 on the season.
 
Loras recorded falls at 157, 165 and 174. Freshman Hunter Holdcraft (La Salle-Peru HS, Seatonville, Ill.) fell by technical fall to Javier Soto at 184 and the Duhawks' fourth-ranked 197-pounder Guy Patron pushed the lead to 45-6 with another pin.
 
Jones, ranked third in the nation at 285, earned Augustana four points with an 11-3 major decision over Brody Tupy. The junior remained unbeaten on the year at 9-0.
 
On Saturday, December 8, the Vikings will be competing at the North Central Invitational in Naperville, Illinois.
