After loss to Calvin Vikings bounce back with 9-0 shutout over Concordia
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – After dropping an 8-1 decision to Calvin in the morning, Augustana bounced back with a decisive 9-0 win over Concordia-Michigan on Saturday, February 11 at the Huizenga Track & Tennis Center on the campus of Calvin College. The Vikings moved to 2-3 with the win.

Nicholas Prabhakar (Rockford Lutheran HS, Belvidere, Ill.) and freshman
Scott Daluga (Libertyville HS, Libertyville, Ill.) beat Gustavo Lozada and Ryan Curtis 8-3. At number three the team of freshman David Gunther Tries
(Brookfield Central HS, Brookfield, Wis.) and senior
Adderly Clark (Glenbrook North HS, Oak Park, Ill.) beat Jacob Baxter and Joel Werner 8-0.
Pohl picked up his second number one singles win of the day with a 6-3; 6-2 win over Lozado. Morkin beat Koziel 6-0; 6-0 at number two and Prabhakar took care of Baxter 6-1; 6-1. Daluga defeated Curtis 6-1; 6-2 at number four and Gunther-Tries beat Alexander Jassen 6-0; 6-1 at number five. Clark beat Werner 6-3; 6-3 at number six.
Augustana will face Edgewood on Friday, February 17 in Madison, Wisconsin.

Vikings roughed up by head coach Jon Miedema's alma mater
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Augustana head men's tennis coach
Jon Miedema was looking forward to his team's meeting with his alma mater but the result was not what he was hoping for. The Vikings dropped an 8-1 decision to Calvin on Saturday, February 11 in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Playing without three veterans who figure to be in the lineup, Augustana was able to come away with just a victory at number one singles. Junior
Eric Pohl (Fremd HS, Palatine, Ill.) defeated Rodrigo C.V. Guzman 5-7; 7-5; 10-7 to move his singles record to 3-4 on the season.
