Freshman Zeana Badawi won both of her singles and doubles matches Saturday to help
Augustana defeat North Central and Knox both 9-0 at the Lower Campus Courts.

Jon Miedema's Augustana women moved to 7-0 on the year with a pair of dominant victories at the Lower Campus Courts Saturday. The Vikings defeated both North Central and Knox 9-0. Next weekend, September 30-October 2, they'll be competing at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Midwest Regional in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
AUGUSTANA 9, NORTH CENTRAL 0
Augustana was dominant in its win over North Central, with the Cardinals managed no more than three wins in any set.
In doubles, number one team
Dana Goggin (Buffalo Grove HS, Arlington Heights, Ill.) and
Caitlyn Schaffer (Kenwood Academy, Chicago, Ill.) and number twos
Lauren Goggin (Buffalo Grove HS, Arlington Heights, Ill.) and
Mollie Magee (Olathe East HS, Overland Park, Kan.) both posted 8-2 wins. The Goggin-Schaffer duo took down Kelsey Forkin and Clare O'Connor and Goggin-Magee defeated Katie Drone and Marisa Coladipietro.
At number three doubles,
Madeline Lombardi (Edwardsville HS, Glen Carbon, Ill.) and
Zeana Badawi (Hinsdale Central HS, Burr Ridge, Ill.) were 8-1 winners over Isabelle Wostoupal and Lauren Dvorak.
Senior
Vicki Andonova (Downers Grove South HS, Westmont, Ill.) was a love, love winner over Dvorak at sixth singles and Magee and Badawi each won 6-0, 6-1 at fifth and fourth singles, respectively. Magee beat Wostoupal and Badawi defeated Coladipietro.
Schaffer won her third singles match 6-3, 6-1 over Forkin.
Lauren Goggin was a 6-2, 6-3 winner over Drone at first singles and
Dana Goggin downed O'Connor three and three at number two.
The Vikings improved to 6-0 overall and 5-0 in the CCIW, while North Central dropped to 2-2 overall and 1-2 in the conference.
AUGUSTANA 9, KNOX 0
In its second dual of the day, Augustana lost a total of just seven games—two in doubles and five in singles—in a 9-0 win over the Prairie Fire.
Miedema's first and second doubles teams each swept 8-0.
Dana Goggin and Schaffer defeated Maddie Shacht and Savannah Sailors, while Maddie Lombardi and
Mollie Magee bested Anna McDermott and Melissa Smith. At number three, Badawi and Andonova were 8-2 winners over Emily Miller and Clare Colt.
In singles, the Vikings won 6-0, 6-0 at second, third, fourth and fifth singles.
Dana Goggin beat Shacht at number two. Schaffer downed Sailors at number three. Badawi handled McDermott at fourth singles and Andonova defeated Colt at number five.
At first singles, Miller managed to win a first-set game, but fell 6-1, 6-0 to
Lauren Goggin. Lombardi beat Smith love and four at number six.
