DUBUQUE, Iowa – Augustana bounced back from a first-set loss Tuesday to take three straight from Dubuque and improve to 21-6 on the season. The host Spartans dropped to 13-12 on the year.
Dubuque rallied from an early 9-5 deficit to win the first game. Kendall Kaufmann had a pair of kills as the Spartans won nine of 11 points to go on top 14-11. The Vikings battled back to achieve ties at 18, 22 and 23-all, but two more Kaufmann kills closed out the set, 25-23 in favor of the Spartans.

McKenzie Zambrano (Rock Island HS, Rock Island, Ill.) added 13. Lindaman (three) and Rood (two) combined for five service aces, while Kalkhoff came through with 24 digs, VanEarwage 20 and Rood 11.
The Vikings are back in action on Friday, October 21, hosting their namesakes from North Park in a 7:00 p.m. match at Carver Center.
