DECATUR, Ill. – Augustana moved to 12-10 overall and 4-2 in the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin with a 7-2 league victory over Millikin on Tuesday, April 21 in Decatur, Illinois. The Vikings have won four of their last five matches heading into a non-conference battle with Ashford on Wednesday, April 22 in Clinton, Iowa at 4:00 p.m.
 
The Vikings rode the 3-0 sweep in doubles to this victory against the Big Blue. Senior Lawrence Palmer (Schiller International School, El Prat de Llobregat, Spain) and junior Harald Olsson (Hersby Gymnasium, Stockholm, Sweden) picked up an 8-3 win over Connor Sacks and Thomas Emola at number one doubles. The Augustana number two team of freshman Eric Pohl (Fremd HS, Palatine, Ill.) and junior Austin Schoeck (Alleman Catholic HS, Rock Island, Ill.) beat Emerick Fulton and Jimmy Page 9-7. Sophomores Connor Wolf (Evanston HS, Evanston, Ill.) and Jonathon Elsey (York HS, Elmhurst, Ill.) defeated Dane Pierantoni and JC Santamaria 8-3 at number three.
 
Palmer picked up a 6-1; 6-2 win over Sacks at number one single and Pohl beat Fulton 7-6; 6-3 at number two. Olsson beat Noah Klumpe 6-4; 6-1 at number four and Elsey defeated Page 6-5; 6-2 at number five.
 
At number three singles Schoeck lost to Emola 6-7; 5-7 and freshman Arthur Kasteel (The Netherlands) lost to Pierantoni 2-6; 1-6 at number six.
