Andonova to pick up a victory at number two doubles in
Augustana's 9-0 win over Monmouth on September 7.After dropping a tough 5-4 match to College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin foe Carthage in the morning of September 6, Augustana bounced back with a strong 9-0 non-conference victory over Monmouth. The victory allowed head coach
Jon Miedema's team to move to 4-1 in dual meets on the season and was played on the Lower Campus Courts.
Miedema was able to shuffle some new players into the lineup but the Vikings play was affected as they allowed just three points in doubles and dropped only 19 games in the singles portion of the match.

Rachel Kammerzelt (The Prairie School, Union Grove, Wis.) slid into the number two slot and beat McDermott 7-6; 6-0. Freshman

Augustana will play two non-conference matches on Sunday, September 7 in Mt. Vernon, Iowa. The Vikings will face Cornell and Wisconsin-Oshkosh.
