Jessica Baids (West Chicago HS, Carol Stream, Ill.) scored with 6:41 left to give her team a 53-52 lead. However, North Park went on a 13-0 run over the next 2:50 to take a 65-53 lead with 3:51 to go.
During that critical portion of the game, North Park hit on five of six shots, including two three pointers and a free throw while the Vikings missed four shots and turned it over once. Baids hit two free throws with 3:38 left to stop the run and make the score 65-55 but the damage had been done.

North Park, now 12-12 and 5-8, was led in scoring by Dominikque Williams with 12 points. North Park shot .478 (32-67) from the field and in the second half scorched the nets at a .581 (18-31) clip.
