Augustana opened the victory over Loras on Friday, November 7 with a convincing win

Josh Wielenga (School of Environmental Studies HS, Apple Valley, Minn.) won both the one meter (191.85) and three meter (195.08) diving events.

Miguel Rodriguez (Rockford Boylan HS, Rockford, Ill.) and Holt closed things out with a winning time of 3:19.88.
Hernandez won the 100 backstroke in :57.00 while Disteldorf picked up a victory in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:01.86. Disteldorf was also second in the 100 freestyle in :50.48. Rodriguez placed second in the 50 freestyle in :23.71 and Holt was second in the 100 butterfly in :54.41.

Timothy Michaels (Pella HS, Pella, Iowa) was second in the 1000 freestyle in 11:52.19. Freshman
Victor Wagstrom (Stockholm, Sweden) placed second in the 200 freestyle in 2:01.21 and third in the 500 freestyle (5:48.29) and the 100 breaststroke (5:48.29). Junior
Kyle Johnson (Shadow Mountain HS, Phoenix, Ariz.) was second in the 100 backstroke in 1:00.15 and fourth in the 200 individual medley (2:16.12).
Hernandez finished third in the 200 individual medley in 2:06.73 and Speechley took third in the 100 freestyle in :51.06. Junior
Austin Small (Morris HS, Morris, Ill.) was third in the 100 backstroke (1:01.71) and fourth in the 50 freestyle (:24.75). Senior

Augustana will be back in action on Sunday, November 16 with a dual meet at Lake Forest starting at 1:00 p.m.
