After finishing a four year career in both basketball and softball in 2012, Abbi Staples joined the Augustana staff as an assistant coach in the 2012-13 season.

A native of Sterling, Illinois, Staples was a three year letter winner in both basketball, as a guard, and softball, as an outfielder. She was an elementary education major.
