Augustana College Athletics

Wallace Swanson graduated from Augustana in 1922.  During his years at Augie he played football, basketball, and baseball.  He also served as a captain in all three of these sports.  Swanson was named to both the football and basketball All-Conference teams.

In 1930 he was further honored by being chosen as the first team end on the All-time All-Augustana football team picked by the Augustana Observer and the Augustana coaching staff.  His successful years in athletics at Augustana have earned him a spot in the Augustana Hall of Honor.
