Enyo Dewith was a seven-time CCIW champion for the Vikings, winning three events in 1973 in the 440, long jump, and mile relay. The following season, Dewith won his second straight 440 race and mile relay, qualifying for nationals in the relay event and finishing fourth to earn All-American status. He also was a part of the championship-winning 440 relay team at the CCIW Championships that season.
Dewith closed out his career in 1975, winning his third straight conference title in both the 440 in mile relay.
Dewith has been coaching at Augustana for over 40 years at Augustana after an illustrious career as Viking himself. While earning his degree in studio arts and education, Enyo became a seven-time conference champion in track and field competing in sprints and long jump. He is a two-time All-American in 440 yard dash and the mile relay still holding both records at Augustana. Additionally, Dewith is ranked No. 10 all-time in the 400m dash with a time of 48.44.
