Blaine Westemeyer, a 2010 graduate was a four-year letter winner in football. He was named the 2009 recipient of the Gagliardi award, given to Division III's most outstanding player. Westemeyer was also awarded the National Football Foundation Scholarship in 2009, one of just three Division III players honored. He was also a two-time CoSIDA Academic All-American in both 2008 and 2009.
Other accolades for Westemeyer include NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship, Most Valuable Freshman, three-time All-Region, two-time NCAA DIII All-American, three-time All-CCIW, and three-time Jack Swartz Award winner.
