David Foster
David Foster joined the Augustana men's lacrosse staff as an assistant coach in January of 2017 fresh off graduation from Alma College in Alma, Michigan. Foster was a four-year member of the Scots men's lacrosse team and he played in a total of 65 games in his career, starting 31 of them.
He graduated from Alma in December of 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in secondary education, history and social studies. He completed student teaching at Alma High School in December and has his teaching certificate.
A native of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Foster has a wealth of lacrosse coaching experience. In the summer of 2016 he was the head coach of the Ann Arbor Pioneer Summer team and the two summers before that (2014 & 2015) he coached both lacrosse and golf at One-on-One Sports. He was also an assistant with Blue Jays Lacrosse in the summers of 2011 and 2012.
Foster sports over eight years of coaching experience at the club level and was a member of the Phi Alpha Theta fraternity at Alma. He also held jobs at the University of Michigan Hospital and the College Corner Café at Alma.
